Brief description
The customer's central master data application is being continuously developed to keep pace with current technological advances and to meet the various new requirements and adaptation needs in the energy market.
Supplement
The basic processes of the master data application are the collection and management of master data for the customer's daily business. These are automatically reconciled with adjacent consuming internal systems. The master data application includes job control of ongoing processing for day-to-day business in the energy market, cost calculation for purchasing and sales, invoicing and posting against SAP, and provision of data for other systems such as the customer's internal incoming document system and energy information system. The central master data application is a system programmed with Visual Studio and C#-.NET code, whose data basis lies in an SQL database. The further development of the Microsoft environment is followed by regular updates in the development environment.
Subject description
To ensure the future viability of the master data application, IT processes will be automated and optimized. Functional adjustments will take place in the following processes: Invoicing process depending on due date, document creation, posting for own and service company codes for SAP, company code release, cost center release, handover, missing SAP vendor master data. Subsequently, a handover to the customer's internal IT department takes place for further support of the specialist departments.
