Brief description
Creating an application for global management of material master data. This application is filled in part automatically with SAP data (parent plant) and in part manually (branches via intranet/ASP pages).
Supplement
The following specific functions are provided: automated transfer and conversion of global master data from SAP R/2 and R/3 to an SQL server database; maintaining the master data and intranet settings via Access; displaying global master data via intranet/Internet; entering global master data via intranet/Internet. As part of the support project, the application is expanded after the functional remit was altered.
Subject description
The application is based on an SQL 7 Server database. Branches and customers can access their data in the intranet/Internet. The intranet/Internet settings and internal management and maintenance are carried out by the specialist departments via an Access 97 application.
