High availability for laboratory information systems
Project duration: 5 years, 11 months
Brief description
Minimizing possible downtime and ensuring largely interruption-free operation of the laboratory information system (e.g. due to hardware failure). The software solution offers three variants, according to the needs of small, medium and large laboratories. The software solution is based on an Oracle DBMS with one or two service instances.
Supplement
Oracle and .NET are used to update the server and databases on the standby server or to create a backup on a remote storage space. The current status is displayed on a web page. The GUI is implemented with Innosetup. PTA took a prototype for maintenance and further development.
