Brief description
The tasks of the project comprise further development of the existing inventory management system, the analysis and correction of errors, as well as the creation of reports on the data stock.
Supplement
The system to be maintained is software whose source code was purchased by the company and extensively adapted to the specific requirements of the customer, so it could be described as individual software. Development is performed with Oracle Forms and PL/SQL. Evaluations are performed using SQL scripts. The required tasks are derived both from error messages in the customer change request process, as well as in the form of smaller internal projects. For internal projects, the requirement analysis and design are performed before implementation.
Subject description
The inventory management system to be processed manages all current insurance divisions such as liability, vehicle, accident, or property insurance, as well as specialist divisions such as electronics or transportation. The insurance company operates on the market as an insurance broker. This creates a focus on management functionalities within the inventory management system in agency management.
