Project duration: 6 months

Brief description

In the context of offer calculations for insurance products the acquired customer and offer data need to be saved for a limited time period, if the customer wishes so, in case of later use.

Supplement

For a seamless collaboration between speciality, requirements and software engineering department the processes were modelled via BPM diagrams. Only minor changes were necessary so that these diagrams could be used in the Camunda BPM framework.

Subject description

In case, a customer doesn't decide to immediately close a new insurance contract but later decides to get back to an already calculated offer, as well as for already signed contracts which are still in validation on behalf of the insurance company, a new system based on a microservice archtiecture was created which allows for saving, updating and automated deletion, after a certain time period or after a deal got closed, of the gathered data.
