Implementation of the EU GDPR
Brief description
For one of the world's largest German insurers, the distribution system is to be adapted in order to comply with the current European data protection requirement, with which the rules for the processing of personal data by private companies and public bodies have been harmonised throughout the EU. The project includes support in the specification of the technical specifications, adaptation of the software, implementation and testing.
Supplement
The project is part of the implementation of the EU GDPR of the customer. The project includes the adaptation of the agency management and information system according to the EU-DSGVO. The resulting requirements are defined in the form of functional and technical descriptions in consultation with the sales department and implemented and tested in an iterative procedure. The business analysts take over the technical elaboration of the requirements as well as the test case creation and execution. They are responsible for coordination with the software developers. The administration of the requirements and acceptance is carried out with HP PPM. The implemented requirements are managed with HP ALM as part of test management and tested in several loops. Any defects identified are documented and rectified.
Subject description
The implementation of the EU GDPR is a regulation of the European Union. By adapting the distribution software, permission and revocation for data processing, data protection information obligations and the earmarked use and passing on as well as the information and deletion possibilities are to be fulfilled. In addition, the system should support the representative in following up these tasks and prevent further processing of the data if certain deadlines are exceeded. This is intended to ensure the protection of personal data within the European Union and to offer customers the highest possible level of data security. Furthermore, the implementation of the regulation serves to avert monetary consequences arising from Art. 83 GDPR.
