In-house settlement for research and IT services

Brief description
An existing Java application is to be replaced with a web-based new development to act as an upstream system for in-house settlement in SAP R/3. This new development is to be implemented using SAP Web Dynpro. In the first stage, preliminary analyses and training measures are carried out, and the Basis support team is assisted in structuring the development environment and the transport system (NWDI).
Supplement
The customer project is supported with training measures, ongoing coaching of the developers, and consultation on setting up the system infrastructure and development environment. Components that can be used generally, such as for checking authorizations and creating histories, are restricted and defined as initial tasks.
Subject description
The R&D and IT departments' services are recorded on an hourly basis and posted each month to the applicable account assignment objects via SAP R/3 (CO, PS). During the online data entry in the upstream system, postings are tested by accessing the master data (cost centers, internal orders, projects) in SAP R/3, via BAPI.
