Intelligent test management for endocrinology

Brief description
In endocrinology, there are many medical decision trees. For medical practices, making an accurate initial diagnosis is challenging due to constant updates in the field. This application assists medical staff in initial triage and suggests essential next steps. After recording the anamnesis, it proposes possible diagnoses and diagnostic tests to confirm or exclude them. If the user agrees with the suggested tests, they are directly ordered in the lab, and additional tests can also be ordered.

The application runs in the cloud and is accessible via a web interface. PTA supported the project by identifying and refining requirements. Based on the initial requirements catalog, a risk assessment was conducted with medical specialists to identify, mitigate risks, and define necessary changes early.
Subject description
When a patient presents with certain symptoms, many causes are possible. Diseases caused by hormonal imbalances (endocrinology) are challenging to diagnose. This solution helps medical staff quickly identify such diseases through the right tests. This speeds up therapy initiation and saves costs by requiring fewer diagnostic tests. Additionally, the software stays updated with the latest medical knowledge, which is difficult for individuals to keep up with.
