Interaction Design
Project duration: 1 year, 6 months
Brief description
The goal of this project was the development of novel interaction concepts allow for an easy and intuitive access to the functionalities of the software. Moreover, PTA was delegated to develop an interactive software prototype and the alignment of the interaction concept with the development team of the customer.
Supplement
The customers‘business requirements were the basis of the interaction concept. Furthermore, existing design and interaction guidelines and software products of the customer were considered. Hereon, the requirements were translated into workflows, which were prioritized together with the customer. After this, an interaction concept was developed based on EN ISO 9241, and demonstrated and documented with an interactive AXURE prototype.
Subject description
Within the user centred design process, the development of prototypes is an effective and efficient method to discuss various solutions with decision makers before the cost intensive implementation starts. The development of an interactive Prototype and the resulting possibilities to illustrate both visual and interaction patterns facilitates early discussions with decision makers and domain experts.
