Interface for automatic personnel data transmission to the telecommunications system
Brief description
Designing and implementing a data interface between central personnel data management and the Siemens HiPath telecommunications system.
Supplement
The existing synchronization between Active Directory and the LDAP data management for the telecom system (HiPath User Manager) is changed over to a source system based on AD Lightweight Directory Services. This is supplied from the central personnel management, as well as from a management system for pager devices, the central management for technical systems and from AD. New user data is created and user data is modified via an intranet application for telecom administrators. Permanent synchronization runs between the source and target datasets are ensured by automated data interfaces.
Subject description
The changeover means it is no longer necessary to enter telecom users manually in HiPath UM. This increases the quality of personal master information throughout the company by avoiding incorrect entries.
