Interfaces between invoicing system and accounting in DATEV
Brief description
Development of an interface between a self-developed accounting and invoicing system and the DATEV-based accounting system. Additional analysis of the possibilities for the automation of interfaces and coordination of technical, functional and economic feasibility.
Supplement
New import and export interfaces are implemented for data exchange between the accounting system and the DATEV software. On the one hand, DATEV has to replace obsolete interface formats (e.g. the mail delivery format) and on the other hand, new interfaces to the DATEV-LODAS module have to be developed. Programming is done in Access and Excel VBA. In addition, possibilities for automating these interfaces are being examined. The DATEV tool KREXPORT is used to create individual scripts, which can then be called and executed by external programs to start the data exchange.
Subject description
The interfaces relate to customer accounting, general financial accounting (account master data, open items, and so on) and payroll accounting.
