Introduction of a new digital consent process for advertising and data protection consent
Project duration: 4 months
Brief description
For a company in the insurance industry, the sales system is to be linked to a new document delivery and consent procedure. This should enable the customer to submit their declaration of consent for advertising and data processing without the need for a signature, regardless of time or location. The project includes the adaptation of the CRM system, the connection of the new consent process via an API, the implementation of a new token procedure, as well as the execution of tests and the acceptance of the application.
Supplement
The project to connect a new document handover and approval process was implemented as part of the digitalization for sales optimization. It includes the adaptation of the agency management and information system, whereby the implementation is carried out in Delphi, as well as the implementation of a new token process and the adaptation of a service interface with integrated error handling. The approval process provides a REST API for this purpose, which is connected to the sales system to initiate the process, query the status and retrieve the detailed data on the completed process. The requirements resulting from the planned implementation are defined professionally and technically in cooperation with the sales department, implemented in an iterative process and checked according to the implementation status. The requirements are managed and approved in Jira. The implemented requirements are tested as part of test management using X-Ray.
Subject description
The function provided as part of the project is a consent procedure without a signature via e-mail and SMS that is triggered directly after the creation of a new prospective customer or for existing prospective customers. After creation, the customer receives an e-mail with a link to a website where they can give their consent. He then confirms this with a code that he receives by text message.
