Involvement in introducing SAP Retail. Replacement of an IBM mainframe and integration of various upstream and downstream systems in SAP. Migration of the supplier and item master data from the legacy system. Integration of the customer processes for purchasing, auditing of accounts and sales in SAP. Mapping the central enterprise resource planning system in SAP.

Implementation of mySAP Retail (SAP R/3 4.7 (Enterprise) for the Retail industry solution). Connecting various interfaces. Communication with suppliers mainly takes place via IDocs and an intermediary EDI converter. Item and price maintenance, purchasing and sales are to be implemented in SAP Retail. Initially, PTA mainly provides support for ABAP and SAPscript implementation, and for testing and launch activities. In the final phase of the project, PTA will also take responsibility for project management tasks and for preparing productive operation, as well as coordinating the interfaces. In addition, the SAP Solution Manager launch is prepared.
