Introduction of SAS at an energy utility

Brief description
PTA supports the replacement of a Microsoft Access solution for the creation of sales reports with SAS software. The necessary ETL processes are implemented in the SAS Data Integration Studio, the reports are modelled in Enterprise Guide and can be called up using an Excel add-in. The data is based on an SAP.

The aim of this project is to be able to generate reports more transparently, more correctly and much faster.
Subject description
The reports accumulate data regarding contracts, consumption figures, market shares, customers terminating contracts and the like. They allow an improved forecast of the energy requirement, and are the basis of data for Sales and distribution.
