Introduction of SQL Anywhere 12

Brief description
Designing, planning and implementation of the update to the database engine for SQL Anywhere 10 to SQL Anywhere 12. The upgrade is a preparatory task to the operating system changeover to Windows 7.
Supplement
As the SQL Anywhere 10 database engine does not support 64 bit operating systems, it is first upgraded to version 12. The adaptations involved, e.g. to programs and database scripts, are implemented with SQL Anywhere or Visual Studio 2010. This made it possible to equalize the necessary activities for updating the database engine and for changing the operating system to Windows 7 in the following year.
