Introduction to the Xentis fund control system
Brief description
Development and implementation of interfaces for integrating Profidata's Xentis fund control system into the existing system landscape. Informatica Powercenter is used as the central ETL tool to extract data from the existing systems, transform it, and load it into the new system.
Supplement
The current system landscape for fund control consists of several legacy systems that are outdated. This leads to increased maintenance costs and inefficient processes. With the introduction of Xentis from Profidata, the aim is to create an integrated platform that meets the requirements of fund control and covers future regulatory requirements. The interface stream is responsible for developing data flows between the legacy systems and Xentis. This includes defining the transformation logic, ensuring data quality, and implementing workflows in Informatica PowerCenter. The goal is to transform the source data so that it can be loaded into Xentis without making changes to the target system. The IT stream takes care of infrastructure and administration. It ensures that the technical requirements for operating Xentis are met, including servers, networks, and databases.
Subject description
The custodian plays a central role in monitoring and controlling fund assets in accordance with regulatory requirements, particularly with regard to compliance with statutory and contractual investment limits. In order to optimize processes and meet new regulatory requirements, the previous audit model is being converted to the so-called Model 2.
