IT notification tool

Brief description
The newly created system serves the resource-saving distribution of IT notifications (system failures / planned IT work, etc.) to approx. 2,800 client computers in the company. By replacing a standard software used up to now with an individual solution, existing requirements for flexibility can be implemented much better. The system consists of central data storage based on an SQL Server database, a central SignalR push service, client components for the visual presentation of notifications and an intranet management application. The entire system is based on .NET Core 3.1 technology.
Supplement
The task is the conception including technology selection of the overall system in close cooperation with the customer, taking into account the existing system landscape. Furthermore, the system is implemented and made available on the customer's IT infrastructure. Necessary preparatory work for the upgrading of existing infrastructure elements is also the responsibility of the PTA project team.
Subject description
A special benefit for the customer is the custom-fit implementation of his system requirements (e.g. the possibility to control client systems according to company location or departmental affiliation of the users). This requires a strong technical and functional integration of the IT system into the existing IT infrastructure.
