Laboratory Information System (LIS) – Reporting Framework Evaluation

Brief description
Evaluation of a reporting framework for integration with the laboratory information system as an alternative to the Crystal Reports 9 used until now.

With the laboratory information system, reports must be created in the form of print orders or as a preview, which are then sent to the laboratory customer. An important criterion is support for the Unicode character set in order to enable the use of Thai and Simplified Chinese.
Subject description
Analysis results entry (manual/automatic), technical and medical validation of analyses (automatic/manual), creating and forwarding findings. The system supports tasks in the context of the quality controls specified by the German Medical Association (RiLiBäk). It is highly configurable in terms of the interface, in terms of which process sequences it supports, and in terms of authorizations and reports.
