Laboratory Information System

The laboratory information system is a powerful solution for clinical diagnostics and has the following main functionality: Order entry, sample management, statistics, automatic and technical validation, flexible result reporting, patient management, quality control (RiLiBÄK, Westgard). Configured as Laboratory Information System the software can be extended by two additional modules with Microbiology and Blood Depot functionality. The Blood Depot Module covers the requirements of immunohematology investigations and blood unit handling for hospital laboratories. The Microbiology module can also be installed in addition to the main module and supports the handling and documentation of bacteriological investigations. The main purpose of the middleware solution is to support and monitor automated or partly automated workflows for diagnostic laboratories.
