Logistics system: enhancing import functions for suppliers

Brief description
Further development of an existing application used around the world approximately 400 times for the logistical supply of major construction sites by external suppliers; the development adds an import function from MS Excel.
Supplement
The development is carried out in C# based on the .NET 2.0 framework. C1XLBook from ComponentOne for .NET 2005 is used to access MS Excel.
Subject description
When entering large quantities of material master data, the supplier is supported by the option of importing the data from an MS Excel sheet. The import is subject to the same rules as importing material master data from the central module, which is already possible. After the import, there are dialogs that enable the supplier to identify any differences from data that was entered previously.
