Maintenance and updating of the Confirmations application in energy trading

Brief description

Support and maintenance of a web application designed to facilitate and automate the processing of intercompany trade confirmations. These confirmations are issued to confirm agreed-upon trades between partner companies. As part of ongoing support, the .NET version is also updated to address existing security vulnerabilities.

Supplement

The application was developed using the .NET Classic Framework and provides a single-page application (SPA) front end. Confirmation processes can be automated by connected partner organizations using SOAP- and REST-based web services. As part of support, the .NET version will be upgraded to .NET Framework 4.8 to address security vulnerabilities.

Subject description

Trades involving various commodity assets are agreed upon with the counterparty in the trading system. An additional confirmation is required to execute these trades. The application developed here is used to handle the confirmation process for both intra-group and selected external trading partners. The application reports successfully completed confirmations back to the trading system so that the trades can be executed.
