Brief description
System for entering and reporting product market shares and devices per country.
Supplement
The system records the market share of the products in the countries. In addition, all installed devices are entered for each customer with their service specifications. The frontend is implemented with Visual Studio VB6. Data is stored on site using a local SQL server. The central database at the main location is an SQL Server. Adjustments to the central database are transferred to the local databases using service applications.
Subject description
The local sales representatives collect the necessary market share data from your customers and enter it into the local frontend. Furthermore, all devices installed at the customer's site and their service-dependent data are recorded. The data is transferred to the central database in Mannheim where it is available for evaluation and visualization using Excel.
