Brief description
The administrative process surrounding material inventory, including reordering, production steps, and stocktaking, is to be mapped using new, lightweight software, replacing an Excel-based solution.
Supplement
An old software solution is no longer operational due to technological reasons. A temporary solution based on MS Excel was created as a workaround and is now to be replaced by a customized solution in order to better map the technical processes and make administrative tasks more efficient. A target-oriented client-server solution based on MS SQL Server and a WPF front end is being implemented for the system. PTA's own code generators are being used to ensure an optimal cost-benefit ratio.
