Migrating process models as test cases to HP ALM
Project duration: 3 months
Brief description
The process models provided by the customer are imported to HP ALM as requirements using a macro. PTA exports the process models from Visual Paradigm to Excel and creates a macro to cumulate and sort the existing data. The data is then transferred to HP ALM in this formatted Excel table. In HP ALM, test cases are generated from the requirements at the touch of a button.
Supplement
The macro maps the structure from Visual Paradigm in HP ALM. This retains the high degree of reusability of the modeled activities and processes. In addition, all process images are stored as attachments in HP ALM.
