Brief description
Support in the redevelopment of a host application for operation in the cloud with the aim of decommissioning the legacy application.
Supplement
Based on a strategic decision by the customer to replace a legacy application in the medium term, PTA is supporting the porting of a balance sheet calculation application written in PL1 to Java. For the realisation as a cloud application that can run on its own, Spring Boot is used and OpenShift serves as the platform for operation.
Subject description
The system to be migrated includes the calculation and documentation of the data for actuarial accounting and is the basis of the actuarial variables of German commercial law.
