Migration of an ETL route for geocoding address data in CEP logistics
Project duration: 2 months
Brief description
The goal of the project is the conversion of an ETL route (extraction, transformation, loading) to determine geocoordinates (longitude and latitude) of address data based on the Oracle Data Integrator and the PTV xServer (xLocate). The replacement of the old system considers the following aspects: Improvement of the accuracy of the geocoding by using the current map material; encapsulation of the business logic in procedures; runtime optimization of the ETL route by parallelization of the API requests.
