Migration of two companies into existing SAP ERP 6.0 system.

Brief description
Acquisition of two subsidiaries by a client. This covers the set-up of two separate company codes & sales organizations and the data migration from a non-SAP system into an existing SAP ERP 6.0 environment during the fiscal year.
Supplement
The Legacy System Migration Workbench tool (LSMW) will mainly be used to migrate the master and transaction data which includes the take over of both the account balances as well as line items.
Subject description
The data migration from the legacy system to SAP ERP 6.0 essentially includes the master and transaction data of G/L accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, assets, cost centers and internal orders. After the migration, one company code & the related sales organization will be up and running the operative business processes. The modules/functions used are FI (general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset accounting, banks and payment transactions), CO (cost element, cost centers, profit center and order accounting) and SD billing. In addition, the interface to an external billing system must be connected.
