Due to the in-house relocation of SQL Server operational management to another support group, the internal DBAs are assisted and advised regarding performance analyses, tracing, and general architecture, as well as special features such as change data capture, Resource Governor and high-availability solutions.
Subject description
The customer operates a three-figure number of MS SQL Server instances in various editions and versions. The hosts are primarily made available on a dedicated VM farm. From single instance to multi-instance, through to AlwaysOn failover clustering instances and AlwaysOn high-availability groups, a wide variety of different installations are used.
