Multi-project management in the realignment of the sales process
Brief description
This project aims to improve the product. To this end, a new sales process must be defined that incorporates the new product features and supports sales, processing, and billing. Several companies within a group are involved in the implementation of the project, some of which use multiple IT systems and have multiple development teams. PTA provides the multi-project managers who oversee the development teams at each company.

The definition of the new product and its features is carried out by the product managers in consultation with the lawyers. The sales process is coordinated with all stakeholders and modeled using BPMN 2.0. This forms the basis for identifying use cases and thus the resulting use cases for the individual development teams. Standard systems are used in some cases, but custom software is also used. The tasks of PTA within the scope of this multi-project management are: Creation of the framework plan for the overall project based on PRINCE2 Agile and division into several project phases, planning of the next project phase, close coordination with all product owners and relevant stakeholders, risk management, reporting to the steering committee, review of project progress, specifications for the specification phases, rough specifications for the agile approach.
