New development of a central logistics and ordering system for an international trading company
Brief description
A long-standing desktop application for ordering goods and transportation is to be replaced by a new cloud-based application. Additional functions and enhancements are to be considered and a new user interface with an increased degree of automation is to be implemented. Decentralized users in the system will also be considered in order to reduce the number of organizational interfaces.
Supplement
The new development is to be hosted with services under Docker in a cloud environment. The interface is designed as a single page application (SPA). The PTA project team will oversee the entire development process, from requirements analysis and functionality design, user story creation, interface design, development and testing support. The implementation is carried out with vue.js in the frontend, Kotlin in the backend and PostgreSQL for data storage.
Subject description
As a central system, the application will collect and record all overland transports and act as a hub for logistics control and decentralized order management.
