New development of a sales application for residential property insurance
Project duration: 1 year
Brief description
Replacement of a sales application for residential building insurance with a solution that meets the requirements of digitization. On the one hand, the design of the application undergoes optical modernization and, on the other hand, attempts to optimally support the sales process. The use of the cloud architecture promises shorter release cycles and thus the possibility of bringing faster tariffs onto the market based on customer needs.
Supplement
Agile procedures and pair programming form the basis for the fast provision of functional and quality-compliant software. The use of Pivotal CloudFoundry on Amazon Web Services infrastructure as well as Continuous Integration allow shortening release cycles. The application to be created is based on a service-oriented architecture. Among others, Angular 5+, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS are used for the implementation. Protractor supports the testing activities.
Subject description
Progressive digitization in the sales process, changing risks and changing legal requirements require flexible and fast provision of software for the sales process. In addition to providing information on the individual insurance products, this also includes the possibility of quickly calculating tariffs and making the customer a suitable offer. At the same time, when designing the application, it is important to ensure technically uniform operation of different sales channels.
