OPC-Server

OPC stands for OLE for Process Control or Open Platform Communications. The existing OPC server, developed in C++, was used with a delay after the handover by the manufacturer. It turned out that some agreed functions were not available. These will be retrofitted and further errors will be fixed. Due to the medium-term replacement of the data supplying system, an adaptation of the interfaces is necessary to such a profound extent that a new development is necessary. This is done within the existing system architecture with a modern development environment (.NET with C#). The OPC Toolkit from Softing is used for this purpose.
