Brief description
Enhancements to an existing software application for a chemical plant. Tasks include creation of a new interface with the ID card management tool Nexus SmartACT, extending the scope of data exchanged with the existing physical access control system (ID card information, safety briefings etc.) as well as technical support for the application's power users and the IT department.
Supplement
The application is the primary system for managing external company employee data and controlling access to the plant. Reflected in the development work are the technical specifications of the new interfaces but also the new requirements resulting from changes to the business processes, including the user-friendliness of the application. In the course of the project the application is migrated to .NET 4.6.

This application controls access authorization to the plant for all external company employees, thereby improving documentation and increasing security.
