Planning and coordination of promotions in retail

Brief description
In an internationally-operating retail company, further specific functions are continuously added to the central application for planning, controlling and subsequent review of promotions.
Supplement
In close cooperation with the client, an agile procedure is used to analyze the functionalities of the planning tool required during the promotion planning process, formulate them in requirement specifications and then implement them. This includes both data exchange with several external systems via ESB, WebService and DB-Links, as well as the implementation of specific functions of the .NET-based GUI application.
Subject description
The application supports the department in all phases of the sales promotion. In particular, functions for campaign planning, sales promotion planning, sales promotion controlling, and subsequent analysis of completed sales campaigns are made available. This includes the provision of various reports for the department and the company management.
