Process Analysis Risk Management Reporting

Brief description
On the basis of the evaluation results of the PTA, the customer can identify the gaps in the risk management process and the requirements of the Banking Supervision Requirements for IT (BAIT). The PTA uses an Event Storming method to analyze the existing sub-processes as part of risk management, analyze the existing IDV application and document the evaluation of the results.
Supplement
Joint workshops will be conducted to analyze risk management processes. These were mainly the examination of the risk requirements of the various sub-processes, such as FX Risk, which i.a. powered by data from the core banking system and result in a risk report document. For the process recording, the Event Storming method is used, in which the Big Picture analysis is conducted on the basis of business events. The method is derived from Domain Driven Design (DDD). In another workshop, the analysis is performed on the system. Subsequently, the PTA prepares a documentation of the processes and carries out an evaluation of the BAIT conformity of the existing IDV application.
Subject description
Like all banks in the market, the customer is exposed to risks that he has to assess and master. Given the dynamic developments on the financial markets, modern regulation can not rely solely on compliance with quantitative ratios, but must pay particular attention to the quality of institutions' risk management. The minimum requirements for risk management (MaRisk) start here. Prior to this connection, the customer is faced with the task of reorganizing risk management and taking into account the current regulatory conditions (for example MaRisk amendment 2017, BAIT requirements dated 03.11.2017). The analysis of the existing risk management process by the PTA is intended to uncover the gaps in the BAIT conformity.
