Process migration

This IT project is part of our digitalization and optimization of our customers’ IT landscape. Through targeted measures, we promote technological progress, optimize cross-system processes and create a sustainable basis for future developments. Our IT reference projects serve as a basis for orientation. They support the reusability of tried and tested concepts as part of project implementation.

Brief description

In accordance with the parent companys guidelines for a standardised, group wide process representation and the implementation of an internal risk and control system, the clients process repository is being prepared for migration. The existing process landscape is being restructured. All BPMN process models and catalogue entries are being adapted in line with naming conventions and validated for migration within the modelling tool. This involves the migration of operational business processes, support processes and ordertocash (O2C) processes.

Supplement

The project involves the creation of a detailed process map covering all relevant business processes. On this basis, the existing process models will be mapped according to new naming conventions to ensure a clear overview and a consistent presentation. This formal reorganisation will result in the processes being presented more consistently within the organisation and will lay the foundations for further process mapping and analysis.

Subject description

The project lays the foundations for sustainable process governance. Through the consistent application of BPMN 2.0 notation and adherence to modelling conventions, processes are standardised, which boosts efficiency and improves quality. The structured migration makes it possible to maintain the process landscape in the long term, incorporate new requirements and implement continuous improvements.
