Process modeling and modification of process manuals in a process modeling tool
Brief description
The business processes of the customer departments, which are recorded in different formats, are entered into a process management tool using a uniform BPM notation. For this purpose, PTA is in constant contact with the customer. The business process modeling software used is Celonis (former Symbio Web). PTA's scope of work is not limited to modeling the processes, but further includes assessment/optimization of existing processes. In simple cases PTA supports the customer in modifying process manual templates according to the customer's requirements. In addition, at the customer's request, the software is examined for yet unused potentials in the process representation.
Supplement
The customer has the ambition to document the business processes in a uniform format and uses the business process software Celonis (former Symbio Web) for this purpose. One of PTA's core tasks is to analyze the existing process documentation of various departments and to collaboratively model these processes in Celonis. Furthermore, the customer departments are continuously supported in their work with Celonis. To further increase the benefits of Celonis for the customer departments, PTA examines the software for so far unused functions and check these for their potential uses. In simple cases, the export of customer processes via process manual is adapted through modification of templates according to customer requirements.
Subject description
The documentation of business processes in a uniform digital format not only offers the customer the possibility of automating processes in the future, but also provides the basis for successful quality management and thus for continuous improvement and increased efficiency (e.g. through Process mining). Since the individual departments of the customer already have partly different process documentation forms, a constant development and promotion of the tool is of great importance to bolster its use and acceptance throughout the company's business landscapes.
