Product definition of laboratory automation system
Project duration: 6 years, 3 months
Brief description
This project focuses on the development of a new automation solution in the laboratory area so that samples can be processed more efficiently and with minimum manual interaction in the laboratory. PTA provides support in analyzing customer requirements, creating detailed specifications and plays a significant role in agile project management.
Supplement
An automated sample distribution is developed on the basis of a feasibility study.This is adapted to the existing laboratory portfolio of the customer, but must take account of future trends and technologies in the laboratory area already. This involves coordination work with about 25 projects in all kinds of development phases. At the same time, the customer changes the existing development approach into a highly user-centered perspective including early feedback, entailing serious changes in project management, market communication and validation. In addition to the technical concept, the PTA employees' tasks include usability tasks, requirements engineering, process consulting and quality assurance.
