Providing a training database
Project duration: 1 year
Brief description
Implementation of the connection from a training database to a new existing system. Added to this is the implementation of a special interface for accessing the legacy system for certain data.
Supplement
Multi-system landscapes should ideally also have a training environment, in addition to their development, quality assurance and live environments. The training environment shall be largely provided with data from current existing systems. Legacy stocks shall be connected by a dedicated import interface implemented in Ruby with SQL Anywhere. This interface makes it possible to perform all the functionally necessary data manipulation to ensure the data match the current training content.
Subject description
Efficient employee qualification and internal training and further training measures require suitable training environments. In addition to being technologically up to date and mapping processes, they need case examples that are as close to reality as possible. These are extracted from various systems, according to the functional requirements, and formatted for training purposes.
