Quotation costing

Brief description
The costing module is used to support the complex planning and quotation phase. It enables all components and services of a project to be represented in a database and thus enables bills of quantities, bidder's specifications, cost estimates, and costings to be created. The basis can be standard conditions or project-specific prices and costing factors. The structure of the entire system or of individual sections can be copied from the design system (CAD) via an interface.

The module was implemented using MS .net on the basis of SQL Server Express.
Subject description
The following four levels of detail are provided for editing a quotation costing: projects, sections, assemblies, components. A project consists of several sections. A section comprises various assemblies, which are configured from components. The application can be used to edit all levels of detail after selecting a project. The user can navigate within a project using the hierarchical structure or can navigate directly to a level of detail.
