Quotation structure on the basis of detailed trade costs

Brief description
Developing a concept for processing complex quotation processes in large plant engineering. This creates the basis for decisions regarding feasibility.
Supplement
A very sophisticated EXCEL sheet is used to collect quotation data in a structured manner. An interface transfers the data to a database. Data Warehouse functions are used to help analyze and simulate quotation structures. Post calculation functions are then added to this structure.
Subject description
As the group subsidiaries operate various different systems, this instrument helps to harmonize the information and make it comparable. In the first step, detailed quotation data is collected at the level of work schedules and bills of material, as well as time options in terms of capacities. After multiple sets of this type of trade information are aggregated into a complete quotation, the data can be used for various simulations over time or to exchange quotations for one trade. The findings from this type of analysis are included in negotiations and capacity planning for the entire group.
