Recording advertising permission for communication channels level 2

This IT project is part of our digitalization and optimization of our customers’ IT landscape. Through targeted measures, we promote technological progress, optimize cross-system processes and create a sustainable basis for future developments. Our IT reference projects serve as a basis for orientation. They support the reusability of tried and tested concepts as part of project implementation.

Project duration: 1 year

Brief description

Consolidation of the procedure for recording customer declarations regarding Article 7, UWG (Act Against Unfair Competition). Essentially, this involves technical enhancements and optimization of the data exchange process.

Supplement

Instead of the current system, whereby customer declarations are sent from the agent's workplace, a bidirectional procedure now provides data reconciliation between the insurance company's existing system and the agency's CRM system. The latter also uses a bidirectional procedure for reconciliation with the agent's CRM system.

Subject description

The requirements concerning the UWE remain unchanged. One new requirement is that the latest data change needs to be enforced in the replicating system. This was a novelty because in the existing replicating system, if there were data conflicts, the master server in the agency always prevailed and it must continue to prevail in all other data conflicts.
