Reengineering technical product database
Project duration: 9 months
Brief description
An existing technical database no longer meets requirements. An analysis of these requirements forms the basis for the data model to be redesigned. Then the existing Access application is then reconstructed in MS Lightswitch 2012 with VB.NET as a WEB application. Later, the application must be connected to SAP.
Supplement
Based on the database analysis, a new data model should be created for SQL-Server 2008R2. The RAD tool MS VS Lightswitch 2012 is used to develop the new Silverlight application as a Web app for this MS SQL server.
Subject description
The development department uses the application to maintain different engine components with very different parameters, measures and simulation results.
