Replacement of PSP Reporting in SAC via OData Service
Brief description
The customer wants to migrate their management project reporting from SAP Analytic Cloud to Power BI. The SAC data connection is based on batch file transfers. This file transfer is being replaced by OData services specifically optimized for reporting in Power BI. Data from various sources is retrieved, aggregated, and optimized for the reports.
Supplement
The data is provided via a virtual data model based on CDS views. The OData services are created via service generation and enriched with further logic.

The use of highly optimized OData services to power Power BI allows departments to create flexible reports and dashboards and to keep the data up to date independently.
