Brief description

A global acting customer has established a software-supported sales-planning process, that includes campaign planning and monitoring. It enables fast and efficient creation, validation and tracking of these campaigns. Due to changing global and regional processes, and certain change requests of the business Units, complex requirements are raised against the application. PTA acts as full service Provider, including projectmanagement, development, quality assurance as well as business analyis and deployment. The current release is based on the refinement of the sales funnel and various enhancements of existing funcitonalities.

Supplement

The application is a client-server architecture, that is integrated in the customers operational environment. PTA is handling theoverall developement life cycle on its own infrastructure, including work management, source code and test management as well as different staging Systems. While testing is administered and executed with SpiraTeam, all other processes are supported by the use of Team Foundation Server. Quality assurance is also supported by the use of SonarQube for .NET development applying customer defined Quality rules.

Subject description

The sles funnel within retail has been changed from quite linear process to a multidimensional one. It is therefore necessary to increasingly adapt advertising campaigns to regional conditions. This can be done through regionally different design of the promotions as well as regionally different quantities and pricing To achieve this, appropriate planning levels must be created in the planning system.
