RightAngle Decommissioned – Endur Takes Over Coal, Biomass, and Cargo Operations

Brief description
The standard software RightAngle, currently used for coal, biomass, and cargo, will be phased out and its required functions integrated into the existing Endur solutions. This consolidation cuts both costs and the complexity of the energy trading infrastructure. PTA will manage stakeholder relations and provide external project leadership, aiming to ensure transparency and drive the project forward.

The project involves migrating all physical and financial trading transactions from the RightAngle ETRM system to the Endur ETRM system. The migration will be carried out using automated ETL processes, with manual data transfer and cleansing used for complex physical transactions. A particular challenge is the migration of logistics functionalities. Responsibilities include coordinating between technical teams and business units, ensuring the quality of migrated data, creating and maintaining project plans, and preparing for and conducting steering committee meetings and regular meetings.
Subject description
ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) systems such as RightAngle and Endur are used in energy trading to map the entire lifecycle of trading transactions-from the recording and valuation of positions through risk management to physical settlement and regulatory reporting requirements. The replacement of the RightAngle ETRM and logistics solution with a customized Endur solution aims to simplify the ETRM landscape and introduce a modern, high-performance platform. The solution reduces licensing costs and standardizes operational processes. The company´s critical disclosure requirements and compliance with internal governance guidelines remain ensured throughout the entire project duration.
