Room reservation and settlement

The default resource distribution in Lotus Notes is unwieldy in many respects. Under certain circumstances, a large amount of e-mail traffic is generated in the event of appointment changes. The time period of the event (the appointment) corresponds to the time of the room reservation and does not take into account any preparation times and post-processing times. The application decouples the room reservation from the Domino directory and at the same time gives the users the option of reserving rooms and/or supply services from their calendar. Those responsible for the rooms (service providers) confirm the reservation and can define the necessary preparation times and post-processing times. Characteristics and costs can be associated with the rooms. A catalog of services is available for providing supply services and technical services. The orderer can include these services in the order. The service provider is conveniently supported in creating the settlement for the services provided.
