SAP BI: /4 Transformation Explore Phase
Brief description
The S/4 transformation is currently in the explore phase. As part of workshops, fit-to-standard comparisons are made in the individual functional workstreams, deltas are identified and future tasks are defined in the form of user stories. PTA supports the reporting workstream, in which the logistics, scheduling and promotions functional streams are supported and reporting requirements are developed.
Supplement
Reporting is both a separate workstream and a cross-sectional function that is integrated into all specialised process streams. In collaboration with the reporting stream managers, the specialist stream leads initiate an as-is analysis for each sub-process, describe the target processes, record the information requirements and derive stories and tasks from this.
Subject description
The focus is on the technical information requirements, regardless of the subsequent implementation. The characteristics and key figures from the source systems (quality gate function) required to cover the information needs are developed. All reporting process levels are covered: Execution, control, measures and monitoring.
