SAP BI: expansion of sales planning
Project duration: 6 months
Brief description
An existing application for sales planning is enhanced to include various functions connected to what are known as dummy materials. The planning functions used currently are extended to include the option of adopting only volumes or only prices selectively from a different data pool.
Supplement
The following specific functions are added: (1) Excel upload (2) Excel download (3) direct maintenance of InfoObject master data (4) authorization-controlled unlocking of specific transparent tables and real-time cubes by the user. The Excel upload and download functions are implemented in a general form so that they can also be used by other applications. All three functions are controlled by a customer-defined (shared) configuration table.
