SAP BI – S/4 Transformation Design Phase
Brief description
The S/4 transformation is currently in the design phase. The requirements identified during the exploration phase are being reviewed against the target processes to assess their feasibility and prioritized. The requirements are then grouped into clusters, and data products are developed based on these clusters. PTA supports the Logistics, Scheduling, and Promotions workstreams.

The challenge of treating reporting as a separate cross-functional workstream is that, on the one hand, the processes must already be defined as completely as possible within the underlying functional workstreams, while on the other hand, the reporting functions quality gate role results in iterative change requests to those processes.
Subject description
The focus is currently still on the business information requirements; however, when defining data products, the planned future mapping in SAP Datasphere must already be taken into account in broad terms.
